Classic Journeys
Our classic journeys follow a spirit of discovery, revealing the culture, nature and history of the world’s most enthralling, exciting and beautiful places, including Egypt, China, Turkey, Syria & Jordan.
A National Geographic expert accompanies every one of our classic journeys (except Cape Town to Victoria Falls). Writers and photographers, naturalists and historians, our experts are selected for their intimate knowledge of a destination and their ability to enhance your travel experience. Each classic journey is accompanied by a professional tour manager, (with the exception of Cape Town to Victoria Falls, where the services of a Rovos Rail representative are available instead) who knows their destination inside out.
Journeys by River
Our journeys by river are much more than your ‘usual’ river cruise. Comprehensive and compelling, including a number of special experiences, expert talks and private visits, they are designed to add cultural insight and immeasurably enhance the cruise experience – a unique way of discovering the delights of the Douro, Danube, Rhine or the Seine.
Note: Journeys by river do not include the services of a tour manager. However, a Uniworld representative will be on hand to meet you when you arrive and a dedicated cruise manager accompanies every journey to facilitate any request you may have.
Journeys by Sea
There is nothing quite like being in some of the most remote and least-travelled regions of our diverse and beautiful world, to enjoy the breathtaking scenery, the wonderful wildlife and the remarkable tranquillity at destinations such as the Galapagos Islands, Alaska, Norway and Antarctica. An array of botanists, geologists, anthropologists, historians and other experts in their field accompanies each cruise, helping travellers see their destination, its environment and its cultures through new eyes.
Note: Journeys by sea are individual – not group – holidays and, as such, do not include UK airport assistance or the services of a tour manager. However, a Lindblad Expeditions representative will be on hand to meet you when you arrive and an expedition leader accompanies every journey, on hand 24 hours a day to organise excursions and activities.
